Data Science intern

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
• Use Python, Pandas, NumPy, and SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
• Apply basic statistics and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
• Build, evaluate, and improve basic predictive/ML models.
• Create meaningful data visualizations and reports using tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Power BI.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data and communicate findings.
• Collaborate with the development/data team and learn new technologies as required.

• Basic to good understanding of Python, Pandas, NumPy, SQL, statistics, and data preprocessing.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
• Familiarity with Matplotlib, Seaborn, Jupyter Notebook, or similar data-science tools.
• Basic understanding of Excel and data visualization is an advantage.
• Good logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Genuine interest in Data Science, AI/ML, and analytics.
