Job Description
- Manual Testing:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Report and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand application features and provide feedback on usability.
- Automation Testing:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Use tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or other relevant frameworks to automate test cases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure the automated tests are reusable, maintainable, and scalable.
- Monitor and maintain automated test results, debugging any test failures.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and features.
- Provide clear and detailed feedback on software quality and test results.
- Help in the creation and execution of test plans for new features and releases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes, methodologies, and tools
