React Native Developer

Job Description

• Requirements
• Solid JavaScript fundamentals, async/await, array methods, scope
• Working knowledge of React, components, props, state, hooks, lists and keys
• Understanding of how a REST API works and how to call one from a frontend app
• Familiarity with Git, branching, commits, pull requests
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Flexbox, this transfers directly to React Native
  styling
• Basic data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving ability
• At least one project you can walk us through and explain your decisions on
  (academic, personal, bootcamp, or internship work all count) Must be able to work on-site in Pune, this is mandatory, not negotiable)
• Fluent English, written and verbal

• Responsibilities
• Build screens and UI components in React Native, following designs from Figma
• Fix well-scoped bugs in existing iOS and Android applications
• Integrate REST APIs into app screens and handle loading, empty, and error states
• Write unit tests for the code you ship
• Participate in code reviews, both receiving feedback and learning to give it
• Debug issues on physical devices and simulators across iOS and Android
• Work with designers and senior engineers in day-to-day agile ceremonies
• Learn our project setups across both Expo and bare React Native CLI workflows
