QA Tester (Software Testing)

Job Description

• Key Responsibilities
• Design, create, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. 
• Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing. 
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Java. 
• Build and execute automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright. 
• Implement and maintain BDD automation using Cucumber. 
• Perform API testing to validate application functionality and integrations. 
• Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity. 
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the testing lifecycle. 
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand business requirements and ensure software quality. 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. 
• Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
